In-ground Sprinkler Insallation?
DH wants to get in-ground sprinklers installed. Our propery is 75x150, so there would probably need to be a few. Can you recommend someone? And maybe give me ideas on pricing too?

We bought with them in already, but have used a few companies for maintenance. (NW Suffolk/NE Nassau)
Rain rich - very happy with them...i think they are on the expensive side...we stopped using them since it was hard to get an appointment
Harbor Irrigation - I didn't care for them at all. They quoted us one price and the bill was 3 times higher!
This year we are going to try Maccarone.

Just had them Installed yesterday, cross island sprinklers and irrigation, Phil 631 736 0836
We paid $1050 for 3 zones, 12 hunter heads, 4 garden musters.

Wow...that's cheap 
I'm in NJ, so I can't help you with rec's, but I'm having them installed May 16th. My property is 50x100. They are installing 4 zones and I'm paying $2000.

We used Cross Island too who we found on Craigs List. This being said if we had to do it again we would have not used him. My husband did not like the system he used and we problems. Phil would say he was coming and not show up. The only thing good about him was the price.
We had 4 zones in front yard and set up for back, 1 hunter ram sensor, 1 hunter clock, 20 hunter heads, 8 zone manafield and 5 year warranty for $1500.
We liked Kings Park Irrigation or McCormack but the prices were higher.

we use springmist for maintenence (as did my parents, for maintenence, etc.). no complaints! no idea about cost though...

LOL, was just coming to post same thing! We want to put them in this summer, was looking for recs. Our property is 75 x180. but most of it is woods, so it's probably not as big of a job.

Cost me $1200 cause I did it legally - Had to get the meter approved by the town installed.

we got an estimate last year... keep in mind there are different quality systems... can change the price quite a bit.
We got quoted $2,300 for a Rainbird systems which is supposed to be the best... 60x100 property. The others were all lower than that.
