According to In-N-Out Burger they are NOT coming to NY. I emailed their customer service and they told me that.
It looks like its a different place but they are using the in-n-out name....

my mouth started to water as soon as i read the title of the thread
as much as I want an In-N-Out burger in NY...I DONT want one right down the block from me. KWIM? that corner is already VERY busy and a burger place there is only going to add to the traffic!!

Yeah I passed it again this morning and it says "Joe's In-N-Out Burger". Maybe "Joe" is just using the name? It is taking the location of the old May-Bar Deli right across from Mama's and the nail salon. I am sure the traffic will be insane at that corner!

And...he is a really nice guy. My dh talks to him all the time as they like the same football team!!

I havent been to Friendlys so I havent seen Rick but I really wanty to ask him what the heck he was thinking agreeing on something like that on that corner!!

Do you think Lombardis is going to let them park in that parking lot?

and the Mama's shopping center? Not there either....

And Joes In-n- Out is probably going to be making a name change since the contact from here to In-n- Out's corporate headquarters.......
All american is bad enough, if In-n- Out was on the island I would gain 40 lbs.
