in need of new snow boots- like sorels but less $$?
after dumping out queens blvd slush from inside my boots yesterday, i made the decision to get rid of my current boots. is there anything like joan of arcs that is not so expensive?

I just ordered a pair on 6pm.com called Kamik they were $64.99. I don't know how to post a pic from my phone but they are called snowvixen. I thought they were cute. They resemble Sorels. I wanted a pair also but didn't want to spend that much, plus they are sold out everywhere! I also saw a pair of Sketches that look identical to the Sorels.

I have a pair of Kamik boots (Encore) and they're so great in this weather! My feet are always dry and warm. The tongue of the boot is attached to the inside of the boot so no snow seeps in (a huuuuuggggge peeve of mine...something like that will ruin my day lol)
Mine don't resemble Sorels but they're still cute. I have the gray/turquoise ones.

Btwm ebates and 30% off at shoes or shoe buy . Com they were around 60. Sometimes u can find them at Columbia outlets for 60-75% off.

Good to know! I can't wait to get them now! I was so excited that I found them at that price. I love 6pm.com

I know they are expensive, but I have NEVER been more grateful for my Sorels than I was today. It was like wading through a shallow stream to get to the subway.

I got my sorels at Century 21 in Queens for $65. Not the Joan of Arc ones- similar to the Caribou, but they've been a lifesaver this winter

thanks all. ill check out sales for sorels. the kamiks seem sold out in some places (i usually get shoes from zappos) but ill keep looking. they're really cute!

Kamik are a nice boot..just bought for my DD and she's been out in the snow with them and she is dry and warm...try amazon...
