In order to save some money, I purchased target brand diapers

..and he's woken up three mornings in a row SOAKED.

I am now going out to buy my tried and true pampers.

I'm not saying they don't work well for some people, but boy they are horrible for my son. They are on correctly of course, they are just not absorbent I guess?!?

I now have about 40 size 5 diapers leftover..if anyone would like them I can send them in the mail (I live in VA but would be happy to mail them). I figured we'd try them out, they were much cheaper...

I used to buy less expenseive diapers and use those during the day - because I changed my kids a million times anyway. But I always used the good ones at night - especially the huggies nighttime ones.

Re: In order to save some money, I purchased target brand diapers

Ugh, that stinks. Can you put them on him during the day and still use Pampers at night?

We bought CVS diapers and liked them during the day but not for overnight, so that's what we did: CVS during day, Pampers at night.

ETA: Just saw the previous poster suggested the same thing Chat Icon

I did the same thing a couple of months ago, bought Target diapers and sure enough they were horrible for both of my son's. Now I am back to Pampers.

I did the same once with BRU brand. I called the 800 number on box and complained and got a check in the mail.

I tried the Eckerds brand when they were going out of business, and it was not even worth it.
Bryan cannot use any store brand and he even doesn't do too well with Huggies.
Pampers for us all the way.

Re: In order to save some money, I purchased target brand diapers

I have never had an issue with Target ones. Once in the middle of the night the tape came undone and it leaked. They will take them back, as they have a money back guarantee on their brand products.

I use the less expensive Luvs regularly and have only had a leak twice. Never at night though.

I guess everyone is different. I buy Target diapers exclusively for both kids and haven't had any probs.

I really wish they had worked out, they would save us a lot of money...I still for the life of me can't figure out why they leaked so badly...I mean his shirt down to his knees were soaked.

Re: In order to save some money, I purchased target brand diapers

If you want to save $$$ on diapers I say buy Luvs. They never never leak and they are made by the same company as Pampers just much cheaper. Actually if you compare a Pampers Baby Dry diaper to a Luv's diaper they are virtually identical except for the characters on them. Luv's also go on sale alot in Target.

Re: In order to save some money, I purchased target brand diapers

I love Luvs diapers but unfortunately ds has been waking up wet every morning ... so I use them only during the day and put Pampers on him at night...
