In Search of An ELA Position in Queens
Hi,
Does anyone know of any ELA job openings in Queens? My friend has been in excess(ATR) since last September and what an AWFUL situation to be in. He's an exceptional teacher, teaching 17 years. He was in Astoria. His school which was K-8 was phasing out the middle school grades(which is what he taught). He keeps going on interviews and being told how phenomenal he is and then they ask him, "Why nobody has grabbed him", but still hasn't been hired. I'd have to guess it's because they don't want to pay for someone who makes almost $90,000, which is so shameful because he's top notch!
If anyone has any leads or knows of a Queens ELA opening will you contact me?
Thanks SO much, Keri
