In the Company of the Courtesan by Sarah Dunant
I really liked it but I figured out most of the ending beforehand which made it a little disappointing.
Once again the author provides a terrific setting (Renaissance Venice) and weaves historical characters throughout the book.
Anyone else read it?

I have it-- but after reading back to back historical fiction- I needed to break it up with freakonomics-- it's next on my list.
