In the Spirit of the Holidays...
what is the worst/tackiest holiday gift you've received? This is always a fun one!!
Juney - I think it's time for you to break out the Genuine Leather bag again!!
I'll start:
My MIL gives me these little Victorian doll mask chocke things - SO not my style!!!
About two years ago - my FIL gave EVERYONE in the family NCPD (Nassau County Police Dept) turtlenecks - ugh - ok!!!
DH and his big mouth already told me that I'm not going to like the earrings his mom picked out for me this year!

My MIL gave me (years ago) a statue of a boy and a girl...very victorian looking, from the "Venutti Collection". So now that's a private joke between my DH and I.

i know my fmil loves me as her own, but she has NO idea of what i like and don't like, clothes wise. she sees me every day and knows where i shop, but the things she pick out, jeez..purple and yellow sweater with gold detail anyone??

nothing compares to my keychain I got from MIL
it was one with mickey mouse on it and my name.

I got ya beat-My MIL I got me keychain that had sand in it with my name spelled wrong! And DH even told them and they were like oh well you can use it anyway?!?!? That just is the tip of the iceberg with the IL's

I was living with him for 2 years - and could not stop thinking "Does this guy even know me.." I'm a jeans & sweater girl...
