look for another teaching job?  I have been contemplating this for a while now.

It never hurts to look. However, I would carefully consider how stable you would be in that new job as to opposed to the job you already have.

Thanks, that's a good point. I'm a first year teacher in my current school. So, I have no seniority or anything.

I am looking everywhere!!! Ive been in my school for two years now but we are planning for reconstructure so who knows what will happen....

I'm looking - I see a shake up for the specials next year and I don't know what will happen, especially if the budget fails - I think there will be a lot of failing budgets unless these districts can keep it under 2-3%
I'm not looking for leave replacements - just probationary tenure track and those are few and far between.

I've been looking and there is nothing out there. ( I teach English.) This time last year I was already going on interviews.... I think districts are going to wait and see if their budgets are passed this year.
