In your experience...loose diapers (stool)
Has indicated what for your child?
I just got a call from daycare that Lucas had three loose diapers so I am getting ready to go get him but the dr's office is closing. They will see him first thing in the morning but we all think it's teething.
Totally respect taking him out of daycare and have no problem waiting until tomorrow for the dr but wanted to get some advice.
What can/should I do for him and what could it possible be?

Really could be ANYTHING- my DD has had that from eating stuff that didn't agree with her(she couldn't tolerate carrots for a while), teething, colds, or one bad time, a stomach virus.
Hope its just teething!

I would first ask what he ate at daycare today and then I'd ask what he's behavior was like? was he cranky? Does he appear tp be teething? does he have a temp?
Usually for my kids, loose stools is usually teething.
I pray that your lil one is not sick!

Thank you both so much!
The Director met me at the door and told me the Lucas was in great spirits and had no temp so they are pretty comfortable in assuming that it's teething (no runny nose, no ear tugging, nothing) and he is fine to come in tomorrow. They said they trust my judgment, which I really appreciate.
He was all playful tonight before bed too

Cailen just gets them soemetimes- for no reason - not sick, not anything different that he eats - just somehting going through his system... I have had to get doctor notes to allow him to go back to daycare the next day!!!

I would think about what he ate. I know for DS if he eats a lot of watery fruits or has a lot of fluid other than formula it had his stools loose.

Kaila tends to have loose stools often, I started noticing that it would happen any time she was sick or if she ate too much of a certain fruit.

We were all thinking teething because he's a little cranky in the morning but I wonder if it's the food. He's eating more and more table food now - especially tomato sauce.

Thomas has loose diapers all the time. It's pretty normal for him!
Hope Lucas is doing OK!
