Incline to sleep.....

Ok, so I hear good and bad things about it........anyone use it and like it or not like it. Is it really safe?? I read mixed reviews

My twin boys do not like laying flat on their backs, so they are sleeping in their carseat/ and they LOVE their swings.
Im afraid they will not like the transition when we put them in theri cribs

Re: Incline to sleep.....

I have my boys swaddled and then they sleep on the secure sleepers. I like it because it is on a slight incline in case they have spit up or gas.

Re: Incline to sleep.....

do they like to be swadled? You can swadle them and then put them on their side. What about using the sleep positioner. I used that and my girls loved it they to didn't like their backs. In the NICU they always had them on their stomach. Reese had a moniter so i always put her on her stomach and i put syd on her side. Also rock them a little before bed and put them in the corner of the crip or basinet...it makes them feel secure..hope this helps.

I used to swaddle in the inclined to sleep. Once they start getting really active then I would stop using it. 2.5-3mos my DD wiggled her way down to the bottom of it and we knew it was time to take it out. I just loved having her up on an incline as opposed to flat when she was really small.

What if you put the sleep positioner in the twins pack n' play - that's what I do during the day sometimes.

Diane - we use this and love it. We put both of them in one pak n play horizontally. They don't fidgit around much and they stay on their back. Plus the wedge gives them a pillow for their heads.

They sleep in the nursery, in the same crib. I use the secure sleepers and put them side by side.

Jacob slept in his carseat for 2 months due to reflux, and now I have the crib wedge in so he is still slightly elevated.

Gracie had slight reflux and we used the crib wedge. She hated the inclined to sleep and we returned for the wedge. HTH Chat Icon

Re: Incline to sleep.....

Mariella has a pillow under her crib mattress so its Incline she has horrible gas. She will not sleep unless we did this but I have to say she sleeps better in her swing.
