indestructible dog toy?????

Anyone have a brand that works for them? Mya's managed to damage all her "indestructible" toys already! She loved them, but they are in bits and pieces now!

Cooper is a Boston Terrier and they have a very similar bite as Pit Bulls. These are a few of the toys that he has that have managed to stand up to his bite. Good luck!

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

We have a round ball from the tire biter people. It's decent, but he removes the treads. The only thing we have that really lasts are these mini-footballs and even those get destroyed. He does okay with Kongs. You may want to try the blue Kongs that are supposed to be so tough. My dog is very determined.

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

The only two toys Misty hasn't destroyed are the Kong and a grey ball I got at Target. Problem is, she doesn't really like them either. I have to fill them with stuffin to even get her to bother with them at all.

I agree with all these. Our Shiba Inu is a destructive chewer. He even chewed through his metal crateChat Icon These toys have so far lasted for almost 1 year, and he LOVES the tire one!

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

Bella had the tire and it sucks, she tore/ate off all of the treads which was a HUGE mess to clean up so we threw it out. The kong is OK, but she is already starting to destoy that too, I think we have to get her the black kong it is suppose to be more durable then the red one. We have yet to find a toy for her...

this is her longest lasting toy. For some reason this is the only toy she hasn't tried to tear apart, but she won't play with it if there isn't any treats inside , its an Amaze-a-ball, you put treats inside and they have to roll it around until they fall out. ball website

Toy #1 my Yorkie destroyed and got sick from the tire going into his system.

Toy #3 lasted for about 5 minutes.

Toy #2 has actually held up VERY well and is one of the few toys that he hasn't destroyed!

Thanks for the advice.
Tiger destroys all his toys. He will rip it and take the stuffing out and get the sqeaker. Onec he got the squeaker, he is done with the toy.
I have to say Target as some pretty good quality toys

Yeah, that fire hose toy (#2) is GREAT! It's the closest thing to a plush toy we can give him... He loves them!

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

Honestly it is trial and error, as every dog is different. When I was first having chewing issues with Loki, we were getting all sorts of toys that claimed to be indestructible. He destroyed most of them. I think it depends entirely on the nature of how your dog bites, and how determined they are to get to the fibres/insides of the toy.

Chat Icon Good Luck!

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

Bama pretty much will chew on a toy for HOURS until he destroys it. But the tire above (I think our's is a different brand) is one that he hasn't been able to destroy, and also there's this Nylabone which he loves:

Re: indestructible dog toy?????

we use the fat cat products, they sell them in target
a coworker of mine uses them for her pup too, one time her dog chewed one apart and she called the co and they sent her the money for the product in the mail. otherwise she still has other fat cat products intact.
