Indoor activities for a 15 month old?
Any suggestions. I think DD is bored with her selection here. She is also starting to have tantrums - early terrible twos? I want to get her something new. She loves books - but we have tons...and she rarely lets me read to her anymore. And she's becoming a tv addict - any suggestions on some things I can get for her? Thanks!

Crayola just came out with those First Stage markers. I was actually going to get them for my nephew's first birthday. What about trying that? Even the color wonder stuff may be a great idea since it only works on the color wonder paper. I actually do mommy and me type art classes and they start at 18 months and love it, so she may not be too young for it! Hope this helps!

Re: Indoor activities for a 15 month old?
My DH is home with DD during the day. Staying in the house is hard....it makes the day too long for both DH and DD. He gets DD out somewhere everyday. They go to a My Gym class once a week and the membership includes 1 free play a week. They go to a Music Together class once a week. The other 2 days he takes her to the mall playground (if the weather is bad) or to our local park. He has also taken her to Once Upon a Treetop. She loves the shopping cart so he has been known to take her to Target or the Supermarket just to stroll her around. DD also loves the water so sometimes he'll put her in the tub just so she can play.
Come the Spring, we are going to sign up for a swim class.
What about your local Library? Most have a program weekly for children.

If you have a place where she can get a little messy - a basin filled with just a little water, some bubbles and a few dumping toys does wonders...I just put an absorbent towel down and let him go to town !
