Indoor things to do on the weekends?
DH and I were sitting around this weekend trying to think of things to do that were indoor and airconditioned that we could bring out 15 mo to. We didn't want go to the aquarium and do the outside portion and then hit festival traffic. We couldn't find a play place that has open play with hours for working people that isn't just parties on the weekend. What else can we do? TIA!
PS we wound up at BTJs Jungle for DS to look at the birds and fish. That killed about 20min of the day.

I'm not sure where you live but
Maritime Children's Museum in the Pt. Jeff Rec Center, Sat. and Sun from 1-5pm $5 to get in. Not sure if it's age appropriate, because we haven't been yet.
Chuck E Cheese (my 15 month old loves it there)
Fun 4 All - indoor play place, not a whole lot there for that age, but they do have inflatable slides parents can ride down with the kids, some parts of the jungle gym are okay for that age.
Cradle of Aviation Museum
Orly's Treehouse (although doesn't have the best reviews)
Kangaroo Kids in Deer Park - inflatable place, $10 per kid, open play all week, have to call ahead though

You can do a search of "open play" places here. Most of them are air conditioned and open on weekends. Summerluv posted a handful of them

Re: Indoor things to do on the weekends?
I've called a bunch of play places and they've all told me so far that there is no open play on the weekends-parties only. We've been to Kangaroo Kids cause we go to safe-t-swim there and they told me no open play on the weekends. Was I misinformed?
Thanks for the other suggestions. We actually briefly discussed Chuck-e-Cheese, but we were thinking he might be too young for it. Now I"ll give it a shot. And the Museum, thanks!!!
