Inexpensive bar/restaurant for 40th bday party south Shore Suffolk?
I'm planning a 40th bday party for ~50 people in Sayville/Patchogue area.
Looking for drinks and hors deurves (sp?)/snacks. Every place I'm looking at is $30pp for the alcohol.  Any secret places?
TIA -- it's in October.

Harbor Crab or Brickhouse? Not sure if they do private parties
Also, this is a bit west, but Captain Bills.

I think Brickhouse has a room upstairs? The Oar is nice too, but I have a feeling they might be pricey. Also, Bobbique's has a room in the back.

Try Shandon Court in East Islip. We used them a few years back and were very pleased with the cost and the room. We did the Platinum cocktail party.. lots of food and open bar including beer, wine and liquor for a fabulous price.
