Inexpensive basics for the baby (clothes)

I need to pick up some warmer clothing for Jake since he's out of the house everyday now. Since he's a summer baby, all his clothes are very light. But since it's only fall and it's going to get colder, I just want to get some inexpensive basics that I can layer with later on when it gets colder and he wears a coat or I get the BundleMe. Like some long sleeved onesies and warmer outfits.

So which is better...I am going during lunch. I have a Target, Old Navy, Buy Buy Baby, BRU and the Roosevelt Field Mall near me. Also do have any recommendations for types of clothes I should look at?

I always find alot of cute things in Target Old navy is also very good and not overly priced as well. The children's Place is good as well especially when they have their sales. I also like walmart.

I don't know where you live or even if your in Long Island but there is a store Pay Half in Garden City that has all name brand clothes and if the ticketed price says $30 it will be crossed out and you will pay $15 I get alot of Marissa's clothes there.

I'm in Mineola so I can definitely make it there during lunch. It's right up the block! Thanks!

JCPenney Children's Dept. My mom bought Nate a bunch of interchangeable outfits. They were jogging pants with matching long sleeve shirts (obviously the ones in pic don't match, but they have all different colors). Each piece is $7.99, but online they are $5.99/each if you buy 2 or more (Not sure what deals they have in the store).

I just bought Jared long sleeved white onesies at BRU. They were buy one get one half off. I usually put them under any short sleeved outfiits. At least he's dressed in layers.

I would also try to hit the Carter's outlet. For $250 I bought clothes to last my son from 0 to 6 months. THey have a lot of really adorable things.

I *think* there is an outlet in Carle Place.
