Inexpensive but reliable car seat?
Any suggestions? We have the Bitrax for my car but don't want to spend that much on DH's car but want a safe one of course . Thanks!

Re: Inexpensive but reliable car seat?
We have two Evenflo Triumph's and they were pretty reasonable. They were also rated in the top 5 by Consumer Report.

Re: Inexpensive but reliable car seat?
The Evenflo Triumph is as highly rated as the Britax for about $100. I just checked on consumer reports the other day.

Re: Inexpensive but reliable car seat?
We are going to get the Graco Comfort...the buy at BRU said the Triumph is good but a pain in the butt to get the kids in and out, for example the knob is noisy if they were still sleeping.
Anyone have that problem??
I cant decide between the Triumph or the Graco Comfort for the inlaws car.

We'll see, but lately she is a sensitive sleeper so she wakes easily but she always woke from the car seat and would just plop right back down once we got her out.

Re: Inexpensive but reliable car seat?
My sister has a Triumph in her car and just be warned, it's HUGE. Great, but just big. I was going to get that one or a Graco Comfort, but I think I'll have to go with the Graco since it looks slimmer. I have a little car (An Ion).
