Infant bathing suit sizing
So...I found some adorable suits today for Riley, and I figured it would be smart to buy them up a size, since that's what I do for myself usually.
The thing is though, I found one at Children's Place...they seem to be sized smaller than Carter's. I figure Riley is going to be on the cusp of 12 months going on 18 in the summer, so I was gonna buy an 18 month suit...but ended up getting a 24 month. Is that crazy?
What did you do? TIA!

No that is not crazy at all. I find Children's Place bathing suits to run very small. I know last year my DD was 9 months in the beginning of the summer, and I bought her a 12 month old Children's Place bathing suit and it did not fit her. I then bought her an 18 month old bathing suit from there and it just fit her. I think 24 months is good.

I always buy them in the same size that she is wearing clothes in. Different at each store. Big bathing suits aren't a good thing bc the butt sags.

Re: Infant bathing suit sizing
I have a DS so it probably works a little differently. But he was 1 in June last year. So I bought all of his bathing suits in 18 months.
This year I have been buying them in 3T. I feel like they all run a tad small and he will just grow into it anyway. Plus, who cares if it's a little big, they are just shorts. But, like I said. It's different for me since you have an adorable DD.
