infant car seat w 4-door jeep wrangler

Hi Ladies,

My husband and I are expecting our first child next March. In addition to my car, we have a 2007 4-door jeep wrangler and therefore obviously concerned about our baby-to-be riding around in the jeep. We are not certain about who will be dropping off/picking up for daycare, but there's a good chance that we may be sharing that responsibility, so we need to make sure that we have two cars that are safe for the baby.

Does anyone have a jeep and find that it's OK? Any suggestions as to which car seats to buy?

We really love the jeep and really don't want to get rid of it (but of course we will if we have to!), so I figured I would throw this out there and see what you guys have experienced...

Do you have a soft top or a hard top for it?

My only concern would be a soft top when it was cold out.

But besides that, I think it would be fine, we have a car seat in DH's 1987 T-Top Mustang

we have both - in the winter we put the hard top on
