Infant carseat/registry dillema
So the infant car seat that I registered for has been discontinued. My shower is 2/15. I have been patiently waiting for BRU to get some new Snugrides in so that I can pick one and register for it. They did get 1, but the estimated arrival date is 2/25 and I am due 3/17, what if it's late, I am early, etc. I am thinking that there may not be enough time. Do I just buy one myself? Do I wait it out and hope BRU gets some new merchandise?

I would throw that one on your registry and see what happens. If you get it, great, if you don't then pick one up after the fact.

The same thing happened with my stroller. I just told a few people who I knew were planning on buying me some of the bigger items that a few of the things were on clearance at BRU and they ran down and bought them right away. Why don't you just pass the word on through the people planning your shower?

Personally I'd register for something that they have in stock NOW.
If your heart is set on the other one that arrives later, you could always exchange and/or use gift cards to get it as soon as it comes in.
