Infant Daycare in the Huntington/S. Huntington/Melville area?
Can anyone recommend their daycare (and maybe tell me the cost), for an infant in the area of Huntington, S. Huntington, Melville or maybe Syosset?
We are looking at Oyster Babies but just want to make sure to check out all the potential places before making a decision. Our daughter will be about 5 months when she starts there and we plan to move her to Work of Heart once she is 18 months.

IS Kindercare on 25A too far north? We love the infant rooms there. We used KA for one of my DS's and Kindercare blows them away.
I didn't realize Oyster Babies took infants. We are not too far from there.

we used calling all kids, again in melville - just south of 495 - my son started there at 5 months and they were wonderful to him. It was so hard to pull him out when his twin bothers were born but a nanny is cheaper and easier for now

DS goes to SUNY Old Westbury early childhood center in brookville (right of of Jericho on 107) and I can't see enough about them! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

My DS goes to Miss Dawns Childcare on Jericho Tpke.. Very nurturing and great price. My DS loves it. They have 2 other sites.. One on 110 across from Kohls and there infant facility 6 month to 24 month is near Oyster Babies.. I know. Few people who go there...they love it too.

My DS goes to Kiddie Academy in Farmingdale. I don't know if it is too far South but it is right off (1 block ) 110 near the Movie theater.

I think it would be too far for us unfortunately, I have heard good things about Kiddie Academy! Thanks for your input.

My dd went to primetime early learning center in farmingdale airport plaza. I think its abt $1200

My boys were in the infant room at Oyster Babies. Myrna is such a wonderful woman. She was so kind and loving to the kids. FM me if you have any questions about them.

Huntington - We signed up during a slow time I think - we got 10% off. We pay $340/week - otherwise it's $375. She was 13 weeks - 9 months.

It depends on the age of your child but Dawn will negotiate so after checking around she matched the lowest price I could find. I pay 825 for 4 days; 8:30 to 6 but DS is 4.

I would recommend Kiddie Academy also. I love how caring they are. And the director is lovely to work with.
My daughter was at Oyster Babies & we had a horrible experience. FM me if you want me to tell you about it.

Myrna is a SAINT! She's is the kindest sweetest most caring woman EVER she's like everyone's grandma in one. I miss her terribly!
