Info about funeral parlors?
I'm wondering if anyone has info about funeral parlors that the fetus can be released to before 20wks (17.5wks  )
FM any info!

we used Bryant in East Setauket and the guy we dealt with was wonderful to us during such a difficult time.

I know the owners of St. James Funeral Home in St. James, right near the Smithhaven Mall. The owner is a deacon, I'm sure he could help. St. JamesFuneral Home Let me know if I can help.

I have heard of people using Chapey's for situations similar to yours...Give them a call - if they can't help, hopefully they can point you in the right direction.

I know that Vernon C. Wagner used to bury infants at no charge.
I'm not sure about before 20 weeks but it's worth the call.

Thank you so much everyone!! I appreciate everyone's help in this!!
I made some calls and ended up going with a place recommended by the social worker at the hospital.
I feel so good about this decision. I mean the circumstance is terrible- but at least I know I am making the one decision I can make for my son. Everything else has just been thrown at me by a series of unfortunate events ... but as his mother, at least I had control over SOMETHING amongst all the chaos that is my life right now.
