Info for people expecting the 19" HDTV from Verizon
If you have received your first bill from Verizon and it's been more than a month since your installation, call:
(866) 279-0438
Do it at 9am on the dot - any other time, you're going to wait. A while.
Choose the double/triple play free camcorder or free tv option.
I was on hold for 5 minutes. They looked up my account by my phone number. I told them that I'm paying for the HDTV set top box but don't have a tv to plug it into.
He said they mailed the card on 12/26 but I said that was 2 weeks ago and could they reissue it? He said, no need. I just submitted it for you. He gave me a confirmation number which will also be my Fedex Ground tracking number.
He still said 6-10 weeks till delivery. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long!!

Thanks! We had it installed a few days before Thanksgiving and still have not heard or received anything about it. I will have to try this.

we are thinking about getting the Verizon Fios... our triple play for cablevision is over next month..

If you did receive a username and password I was told you can go here and do whatever is needed for the free TV.

Update... Took 4 weeks and two days from my original post. I got the notice on the door today that they attempted delivery.
NOTE - they may require a signature. Fedex refused to leave it on my stoop so they're coming again Saturday.
