Info on Baby Pics
I found a post by someone on here where she posted pics of her baby boy that she had done at Sear's.
My husband and I had a small wedding and didn't get professional photos done, just had a good friend of the family who is great with a camera take the shots for us. But I am really looking forward to getting some nice pics of the baby once it comes (due Oct 9th) and of my husband with the baby, me with the baby, and all three of us.
So I'm looking for your pics! Would anyone be willing to share? I'd love to see them to see our possibilities. Also if anyone would tell me where they got them done, that would help. I know Sear's, JC Penny, Target, all those types of places do it, but I'm really looking for some good recommendations!

I just had Chuck from Artisan photography come to my house and take pictures of my baby in his christening outfit (tried to avoid any with me). He also was my wedding photographer. My proofs are in the process of being mailed to me so I don't have any scanned yet to share.

my best friend has done almost every place! She went to SEars, had issues with them. She had coupons and all they did was try to sell her more when she flat out said "I just want what the coupon calls for". She also tried and realy liked Olan Mills through Kmart. She liked the backgrounds, she said they were fast, and good with the kids.
My SIL likes Target.
A friend tried the ones through Babies R Us and while $$, the pic was adorable

Yea, babys r us is definately expensive! We were looking at the prices when we were doing our registry and yikes! but like my husband said, the baby will only be a newborn once, so we really want to get some good pictures taken.

THe pic below is a family picture from JCPENNEY when marissa was 1month old. Not to thrilled with the pic. But I have used them for other pics and they came out great I also used Target and they did a nice job with her halloween pics I will post them as well then I went to the picture people for her Chirstening pictures and even though they are a bit pricey you get the pics right there. I have not tried sears and I don't plan on it I have heard horror stories from people I heard K-mart is very good and so is Babies r us bu babies r us pricey as well.
1st two are JCPENNEY
2nd two are target

I had Lia from Imagine Studios come to my house right before Father's Day and do a "family shoot" for hubby as a surprise. I absolutely love each and every pic she took - it was pricey but so worth it. Hubby is right - they are only young once!!! Here are some of my fav's - excuse the poor quality as I had to take pics of the pics

I tried them all, and by far the best pictures we got were from a photographer that come to our house. But after that, the ones we had at JCP I thought were decent. Here's the JCP ones we took at Easter time.

Picture People does really nice work. A little pricey though, but this sounds like a special occasion.

Hey Melly, I had Kirsten's pic at Sears one time. Thay came out good but our appointment was say at 12pm thay didn't call us until like 3pm by then she was tried and cranky.  Talk to you later
