Info on past home sale?
I'm trying to find info on the sale of a home. Isn't that info public record? Where do I go to find it?
The house was in Hicksville (and was a family member's who passed away). We're having trouble settling the estate and wanted to do a little of my own research.

Is there a way to find out who the seller was? I know home sales are listed in the newspaper and my local paper has names...is there a way to find that?

but the mynassau site doesn't give info on who sold the property.
You might be able to get that info from the land records office from the county clerks office at 240 Old Country rd.
You'll need the section block and lot.

Sellers, Buyers, Attorneys, price, etc.

If you click on property report on propertyshark.com, it should have that info listed.
