Inground Pool Closing
For those with inground pools, do you close it yourself or do you have a company do it? This is our first year with a pool and we are thinking about getting a company out to do it. Any recommendations for a company to use would be helpful and how much they charge. I am in Suffolk. TIA!

Re: Inground Pool Closing
This will be my first winter in my home. I bought a closing kit from Leslie's. I am going to close it myself. If I run into trouble I have mt dad and brother to help. They both have pools that they take care of themselves. But the box the kit comes it makes it sound pretty easy and we have the cover from the previous owner.

Re: Inground Pool Closing
Thanks for the reply. My ILs close their pool themselves as well. For some reason, my DH is insisting that we call someone to do it for us. I believe Dunrite has a waiting list until November!

Re: Inground Pool Closing
"The Pool Guys" closed my mothers. They did a nice job - I think it was expensive though, about $325.
This was with that pool cover that the elephant can stand on - I think it's Loop Lock or something....
