Re: Input on naming options for baby #2-- looking for opinions about an issue
I wouldnt use c just because of that..
We have 2 children both with names starting with A. My name starts with A, but dh's doesnt..
if you find a c name fine- but if not, then this baby will be unique

i'd stick with a C. but i'm weird like that.
same here, I would be afriad that dd #2 would feel left out but I am also wierd like that
i would worry about this too...actually, DH, DD1, and I all have "an" in our names....so, DD2 will have Anne as her middle name.

I wouldn't necessarily look at only C names but... I must admit, one of my favorite names is Charlotte so I'd name her that!

I wouldnt necessarily have to go with a C name but if you love a C name, then no harm there either!

Pretend you're making your holiday card. Write out all your names at the bottom, and see how it looks. There's your answer.

You could also do the same sound.
I'm Kate and my sister is Caroline, so we have the same "CA" sound at the beginning of our names.
I think this is a good idea....

No I wouldnt have to use C. I would just go with the name you love and not worry about the letter.

I don't think it would even occur to me to use a C name.
I would look for a name you loved over a name that begins with a C.

i wouldnt purposely do it. If I happened to find a name that I liked that started with a C, then so be it.

I wouldn't have to have a C name but I'd try to focus on them because I think it would be cool if you all had C names
I definitely agree!!

I agree. My name is a C and DH is a F. My first DD was an A and it just so happened that my next DD was an A too. It was only by coincidence. However when Igot pg with DD # 3, I was on the fence with choosing an A or not. I actually wasn't going to do an A but Dh insisted we did and put the guilt trip on me saying she'll feel left out. So her name is an A. Well the 4th Dd came along and there was no doubt that she was gonna be an A too.
I will admit it does sound nice on cards but don't do it for that reason only.
here is an example

i totally get what you are saying, but it wouldn't affect my decision on a name. It's hard to find names you love-- why make it more complicated??

Re: Input on naming options for baby #2-- looking for opinions about an issue
If it were just your DD being a C name then I'd say no need for a C but being that all of your names begin with a C I'd probably look for a C name...but its not written in stone
