insect bite that causes blister?
My 6 year old has a couple of insect bites that have caused blisters. One opened and is healing it seems. ANother is a blister for sure. Anyone know what kind of insect can cause this? should I be worried??
TIA

My kids are allergic to bug bites, mosquitos, spiders, etc., so they get blisters and swell up quite a bit. Maybe your child is allergic also?

Re: insect bite that causes blister?
Are you sure they are bug bites? There is a rash kids can get that sounds like what you are talking about, it's called Molluscum and it spreads if you scratch. And once they are scratched open, they heal, which is why I thought of this with your description.

Re: insect bite that causes blister?
Thank you so much for your replies!!
I googled the Molluscum - the pictures I saw don't look like what my son has.... So I am guessing that he might have been bitten by something he is allergic to (he is allergic to lots of things, so this would not be surprising). The good news is he doesn't have any new ones today!!!
Thanks!
