Installing AC units in roll out windows?
In our cape, the master bdrm has 1 double hung window and 1 smaller roll-out window....the one that is about 16 inches deep and 2-3 feet wide....
Anyone know how we can have our ac unit in that window? The larger window faces the front and I hate the look of the ac unit in the front of the house.
The previous owners said they were able to do it but I can't see how since the window doesn't roll out to a 90 degree angle.

They may have taken the actual window out (just the part that rolls out was probably removed), put in the A/C and used wood to board up the rest of the opening

That's exactly how DH puts the AC in our roll-out windows!
