Installing attic stairs - handyman or carpenter needed
We need to install drop-down attic ladder, as currently, we can only access the attic through the linen closet, so we don't use it.
I know they sell the ladders at Home Depot, but who would I need to install this? A carpenter or a general handyman? Does anyone have any recommendations in the Bellmore area?
Thanks!

It's a pretty simple install if you get the ladder kit from HD. It's just finding a location between the ceiling joists, cutting a hole in the drywall, then mounting it. Possibly adding additional support sections of wood. Any carpenter or handyman should be able to handle it easily.
I don't know anybody in your area, though.
