insulating a basement?
We are finishing our basement and are undecided as to whether or not we should insulate it. We have heard people that have done both. What did you do if you finished your basement?

Re: insulating a basement?
I would definitely insulate it so it's not freezing in the winter!

Insulate it!!!
We live in the basement apt. in inlaws house & when we built the apt. we insuated it really well & it stays warmer in the winter & cooler in the summer! (hence keeping energy bills down )

Us, too. It's insulated with its own heating zone. We also have an air conditioner in one of the windows during the summer months.
I would definitely insulate so that you can use the basement in the winter.
