INTENSE upper abdomen pressure? UPDATE!
Has anyone had this? I'm 36w5d and for most of the day it feels like one long BH contraction in my upper abdomen, and it's gotten worse the last couple hours. I can't find a comfortable position - so much pressure but it's high up? I don't remember this with my DS. I feel baby moving a lot but the pressure doesn't seem to abate at all.
Just had my sono and the tech literally went "WHOA! This baby is so low!"
So I was right as were some others. Baby was starting to migrate down and that's the pressure I was feeling!

Re: INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
Is it pain or just pressure? In one spot or all over?

Re: INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
Not pain. But it is uncomfortable. And it's not my entire stomach but like a band across my upper abdomen.

Re: INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
Ok. I was asking because I had something similar all through my 2nd and third tri...on and off...I kept thinking severe BH or the baby pushing on something. But mine was downright painful and under my right ribcage. Turns out it was my gallbladder and I didn't know it at the time. But again, mine was very painful.

INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
Does it feel like s/he is pushing? With DS, he would push so hard that it felt so uncomfortable but it wasn't constant. It would last a few minutes. I would say if it lasted throughout the night, I would call the dr. Can you time the uncomfortable pressure or is it just constant and doesn't stop?

It did feel a bit like the baby was pushing on me - but the area where I was feeling it was pretty big.
Anyways I think it was the baby migrating downwards because the pressure eased up overnight but now I feel it in my pelvis, and my belly feels lower.

The baby is no peanut anymore, could've been a butt up there pushing so s/he could move down. Belly dropping! That's exciting! When did you do into labor with DS?

INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
I had this today!! It felt like one of my babies were in my ribs pushing my insides and it was across my upper abdominal area. I laid on my left side and the baby moved!! Good luck

Re: INTENSE upper abdomen pressure?
Sounds like maybe the baby is turning? I had that for like 2 days. I couldn't sit up straight at work it was so intense. My chair leans back but I looked like a bum with my feet and and my chair fully reclined. But it was the only way I could sit. Then all of a sudden it was better.
