Interested in Bradley method?
My friend is in the process of getting her license and she has her provisional certificate. She is looking for students to complete her certification process. Here is part of an email she sent me... if you want her email and/or phone number send me an fm..
Im not sure where she will be holding the classes but she lives in the port jeff area.
"Hi everyone, sorry for the mass email, but I wanted all of my Long Island friends to know that I'm now certified to teach the Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth. As of now I'm a provisional licensed teacher and I have to teach two 12 week series of classes to become an affiliated instructor (which would mean I'm on my own!). The teaching academy is very strict about how you can (and mostly CAN'T) market your classes as a provisional teacher, so although I thought I had all the hard stuff done, I'm now struggling to actually get students for my first two series. Although Bradley recommends a natural childbirth, the class itself is empowering for those who aren't sure how they feel. It focuses on relaxation techniques, nutrition, exercise, and laboring techniques, BUT it also encourages couples to ask the right questions, be prepared, and enjoy pregnancy.
PS There will be a substantial discount compared to other local Bradley teachers due to me only having a provisional license!"

Re: Interested in Bradley method?
I hope your friend finds people. We aren't taking classes because we never have a day off together. My birthing method includes squeezing DH's balls every time I have a contraction.

oh I am sure she is a GREAT teacher. She was a teacher before becoming a SAHM and she is just a great person. This is right up her alley!

Sounds like a great opportunity!
I'm not pregnant but took Bradley. I wasn't thrilled with my instructor. I think it would have helped if she had teaching experience.
