 apparently some of these women have them for most of the active labor. apparently, many of the same hormones are involved in both orgasms and delivery. who knew? it is interesting though and further supports the theory of not relying on medicine. apparently the orgasms are supposed to serve as a natural pain killer.

True... on the video, most of the women having them were doing home births or those water births. i could not imagine screaming in the middle of Huntington Hospital!

DH has that book too and honestly, i think i agree. i've never had a child before and i think i would want the security of a hospital. maybe for the next baby(ies) i would try something at home or a water birth.... but the ****** thing... i think i'll pass!
