Internal Sono at 8 weeks - I have a question
So I am scheduled for my first sono this Wednesday  I will be exactly 8 weeks.
They said it will be an internal. Please tell me I'll still get a picture to take home!!!!! I wanted to surprise everyone at Thanksgiving with it.

I never had an internal, however at my first sono I was 8 w 6 d and got 2 pics to take home.

my first one at 9 weeks was internal and we got a bunch of pictures...however ASK for pictures cause some techs will give you just one

You will be so excited, that it's really not bad, don't worrry!
Definitely ask for a pic, the tech had to "go back in" to give us one.

Yes, you will get pictures. My first 2 sonos (6weeks & 9 weeks) were internal and the pics are in my album!

I had my first internal sono at 9 weeks and we got a great picture to bring hime with us of the little peanut. Just make sure you tell the tech/doctor that you would like one so they know to print itout for you. ENJOY!!!

They have to do internal at this stage because a regular ultrasound won't be able to detect the baby.
I had three internals - 7 weeks, 9 weeks and 11 weeks. I got pictures at all of them. Then I went to Walgreens and copied them and gave them to our Moms. The copies were better than the originals because it was better ink and paper.

Enjoy - its an incredible experience!!! You'll get to hear the heartbeat also!

I got an AMAZING 3d pic of my dd at 10 weeks, here it is (this was an internal sonogram as well)
