Interview Question - Need Help By Thurs

Hi Everyone,
I was hoping some of you could help me out. I need some advice on how to answer some interview questions about my specific situation. Here are the details...Back in June I left a company that I had been with for 5 years to move to a larger corporation - my old company had been going through layoff after layoff and they were not sure how much longer they would be in business. Plus I wanted to "switch sides" in the industry and my old company did not have any open positions. So I worked at this new place for about 4 months and was let go for violating the attendance policy - I have panic disorder and missed some days because I was having really bad panic attacks. I take full responsibility for my actions and mentally was not in a good place at the time - what I should have done was taken some time off to get better. I have since gotten the help that I need and have no doubt in my ability to go to an office every day and give 100%. So how do I answer the question "Why did you leave your prior job?" without coming across like someone with "problems"?
Thanks in advance for your help!

UPDATE: Thanks for the help, but it turns out I was worried for nothing. The interview was literally 6 minutes, they never asked me about that job and they offered me the job on the spot. I start next week and cannot wait!

or you could say you where dealing with serious health issues that have since been resolved and leave it at that. ???? i think that's fair... as you may want to keep your resume consistent as well as the experience at that job may be helpful for this one. only question is are you comfortable putting that company down as a reference? if not, i probably wouldn't put it down at all.

I would fib about the layoff, because you don't want to give them any kind of "red flags" which could happen if you mention having had "serious health issues".

I might say that I had medical issues to resolve if I were you.
