Interview questions---common core...

I am going for a callback interview for an Elementary Reading position. They said that the interview is going to include more in depth questions.

Anyone have any sample questions? What I should prepare for? I was excessed 2 years ago, and had a fifth grade leave last Jan-June, so I am a little nervous because I haven't had to implement common core first hand...just know it based on what I am reading...I know close reads are huge, so I would like to brush up on that.

Thank you so much in advance!

***I would have done an x-post to teaching, but I am not sure how to do this. Sorry!

Know your ish on everything related to guided reading, shared reading, differentiating reading lessons, teaching students on finding evidence from the text... Huge in ELA testing.

I agree with looking into the EngageNY website. I would also look into the Modules put out by the State. They explain thoroughly how to do a Close Read. They are really steering away from reading skills and more into deep thinking. Everything on the ELA test required deeper thinking. Good luck!
