Intimacy during pregnancy??!?

I am just wondering what it was like for you ladies during your pregnancy with twins and your intimacy level?! Sorry if it is TMI and you don't want to share but I am starting to feel really bad for DH and want to know other people's experiences during their twin pregnancy!

With DD we were great, I was less tired and felt good during my pregnancy so we were able to maintain a healthy sex life .... now though it's a complete different story!!! I am exhausted, there is zero comfort level for me at this point, body image is just terrible and desire although mentally is there, physically it is not. I feel like I am neglecting DH and he seems to be really understanding, but at the rate we are going there won't be anything happening till the summer for us...is this normal?!!?

I think when you don't have that level of intimacy you start to question are things ok, am I being a bad wife, how long can he tolerate it?! Even though he has been really great I still get the wheels turning!

No intimacy for us. And to be honest, DH is in the same boat as I am. I was talking the other day about starting to work on some natural methods to bring on labor and he said "I love you babe, but I'm not comfortable with DTD" I said "Don't worry, I don't want you near me" and we both had a good laugh.

I think what you are going through is totally normal. And find comfort in knowing DH is understanding about it. I know it can seem like maybe he is too good to be true for his understanding, and therefore you question it, but he is probably being very honest!

Very little, although lots of cuddling/physical contact. I was too tired and uncomfortable.

Although I'll admit towards the end of the pregnancy we tried everything to bring on labor and they sex will do it. It was like a scene ouf of Cirque du Soleil at that point.

we have been banned. the doc told my hubby to get used to other methods and pointed to his hand. LMAOOOOOO

I miss my hubby SO much and offer to help with other methods but he says that if i cant get any type of pleasure than he doesn't want to either and that if I'm making sacrifices for our little girls' sake then its only fair he does too.

I'm with you on this one. Not much happening over here. But mostly he is afraid to! Now that I'm past 31 weeks, I'm holding out because I don't want to induce labor. I don't know when I will want to after they come though! I will want my body back first!
