introducing myself
Hi, everyone,
I just joined the site because my husband and I are TTC (our first) and I'm looking for "kindred spirits" (most of my friends either don't have kids or don't want kids, it seems). I recently turned 33 and I'm getting nervous that I'm running out of time. Also, I started charting recently, but, unfortunately, my cycles have been fairly irregular since I went off the pill last fall. Anyway, I'm just hoping that this process will go smoothly!
DH and I started TTC two months ago. AF arrived today and I feel a little depressed about it -- so, after some lurking here in the past month or so, I decided to sign up! (I know that two months of trying isn't long, but what can I say... I'm impatient!)

Welcome and dont let the age thing get to you. DH and I are both 36. There are many women ont he boards who are starting for the first time who are older as well. We are all in this together!

Goldi, I am glad to know that there are plenty of other women in my situation age-wise. I'm sure that many of you have gotten the same well-meaning but annoying comments from friends, neighbors, complete strangers... "it's about that time!" and "do YOU think you'll have a baby soon?" and "hear that clock ticking?" Argh!
