Re: invite question..
I put:
The Lastnames
unless you're referring to the Lastname's house or party.

That's fine because it is possessive.

Re: invite question..
Sorry, misread the question.
I'd put The Lastnames.

Re: invite question..
The Lastnames
Like this:
The Lastnames 123 First Street Anywhere, NY 11111.
And if they have kids I do The Lastname Family.

Re: invite question..
No apostrophe - if you are inviting the Smiths, then its the Smiths, plural. NOT the Smith's. There is nothing that they are possessing when you send them an invite. you are referring to them as plural...HTH!

Normally I don't even put a name, I put our address on the Place line.

Re: invite question..
If you use The Smith's then you need to put Home afterwards.
Place: The Smith's Home @ yada yada
Or just make it simple and say "Our Home"

Re: invite question..
If it's casual, and close friends/family are invited, I would probably use first names. For a more formal event, I would use "The Lastnames" or "The Lastname's Home/Abode/House/Residence/Castle"

The Lastnames Address
If you were saying The Smith's Christmas Party, then you'd use an apostrophe. Apostrophes show possession -- just adding "s" makes it plural.
