Inviting people over for drinks???
I invited the neighbors over for drinks. There are three couples and between them they have 7 kids (1st grade through 12 grade). I know one couple definitely won't bring the kids, but I don't know about the other two.
I don't know what time to tell them to come. I want to have "finger food" but I don't want to have a full on dinner.
What time should I tell them? Should I mention the kids or let them figure it out (I don't mind if they come, but I don't have anything for them to do here etc...)
ADVICE PLEASE!!!

Well, if you said come over for drinks I would not take my child. But if they do, a movie & popcorn for the kids sounds good. I would say 6ish....

What day is this for? I would say 7pm if it is for drinks. If you say 6pm, they might think it is dinner.

that's exactly what I was thinking. 6/6:30 could easily be construed as dinner time.

Yeah, you are right. I forgot that I have to work on Saturday until 2 anyway, so 7 would be perfect. I'll get some chips/dip, cheese/ crackers apps and finger food (and of course lots of drinks) and that should be fine, right?

If you work until 2pm, you may want to allow enough time to get everything ready and relax a bit before your guests over. I'd said 7:30pm instead and that way they'd know for sure that dinner is not being served.
