iPod/iTouch Help

So DH's birthday is about a month away and he's dropping hints about what he wants. Not so much a hint as a website that compares the different iPods and iTouch. He seems to be really interested in the iTouch.

Right now we have the windows mp3 players but we recently got a new Mac and he is now all about Apple and wants to convert everywhere.

Does anyone have reccomendations? Do you have the iTouch? Do you like it?

We don't really want to switch our cell phone company right now so the iPhone is not really what we are looking for.

Thanks!

DH has the Ipod touch and at first i thought it was a waste of $, but now I LOVE it....we have all of our music on it, tons of pics, and you can go on the internet too, which is awesome and convenient!

Re: iPod/iTouch Help

i have the iTouch---i freaking love it.

only thing is that if you think he wants to put TONS of music and video on it---i think the memory size is small at 8, 16, or 32 GBs. it gets expensive for the 16 and 32. BUT i have the 8 GB--have about 600-700 songs , plus a couple of videos and some photos and have a great amount of memory left.

the battery life isn't as great as i would like and has to be charged a great deal. but other than that--i LOVE the wi-fi features and just the whole thing in general

Re: iPod/iTouch Help

the itouch seems great in theory but if you have any intentions of moving over to an iphone then I'd just get an ipod classic and get the larger storage. Trust me 80 gigs goes really fast, especially if you keep any videos at all.

overall though, cant go wrong with any mac product
