Ipod Owners...
Um...accidentally deleted the folder on my PC with all my songs and library. Fortunately, the songs are still on my ipod. Any way of backing up my Ipod to the PC?

Re: Ipod Owners...
When you connect your iPod to your computer, you should be able to copy the files into the iTunes library.

no, no don't do this, your library os the master and if it is connected, it updates to water is in your library, so it will erase ALL of your songs and update it to what is in the library-NADA. I can give you precuse instructions if you;d like to take the songs from your ipod and upload them to your itunes library, let me know and i can FM you since it is very involved. I lost 400 songs when my computer crashed and got them all back onto my computer. Let me know I have become an expert int his area (purely by mistake)

You can disable the automatic update feature though. That will prevent the songs from being deleted.

Yes. Also, if my library is different than the ipod, I get a message saying "would you like to replace what is on your ipod with the itunes music library" and you click NO.

Then to be safe, you can uninstall itunes then re-install it. I definately will give you a message then. This is the one area that I never had a problem with on ipod.
