Re: Ipod songs
Any song by Billy Joel is in heavy rotation on my Ipod. It helps relax me when I am having an issue with something.

Re: Ipod songs
Here are some of my recent downloads:
"Green Tambourine"--Lemon Pipers "Rock Around The Clock"--Bill Haley and his Comets "Wild Horses", "As Tears Go By", "Brown Sugar", "Angie"--Rolling Stones "Celluloid Heroes"--Kinks "Incense and Peppermints"--Strawberry Alarm Clock "Gimme Back My Bullets", "Free Bird", "Sweet Home Alabama"--Lynyrd Skynyrd
As you can see, I'm kind of a Classic Rock fan.
I might also suggest some Weird Al Yankovic parodies such as:
Yoda (Lola), Smells like Nirvana (Smells like Teen Spirit), King of Suede (King of Pain), Ode to a Superhero (Piano Man)

Re: Ipod songs
Well, my tastes are a little out of the mainstream - I like old school alternative stuff - like alice Donut - for fun I uploaded an old album that I had into my ipod... I also just downloaded Arcade Fire, all the Deathcab for Cutie albums, Belle and Sebastian, and the older Regina Spektor album (I love the song "Us")

My friend is in Belle and Sebastian!! He plays the trumpet and the guitar!! I am hoping to go up to Scotland to see him before September! I saw B&S play their first gigs ever back in 1997, and I am (not only friends with them) but a HUGE old school fan. Bloody love them.

B&S are one of my all time favorite bands.
Off topic (er, actually, sort of back on topic), how do you find out what your #1 played song is?

I am actually a geek, but very cool by association...honestly. I do know lots of people in bands, but only like on a casual basis, Mick is the only one who I am actually friends with, know the wife, the cat etc...
