IRA
does any one know of a good IRA?
My husbands IRA account was taken over by another company now they want to charge a 100.00 yearly maint fee that we refused to pay, now he wants to roll it over inot something else
any sugestions????

Have you asked them to grandfather your account? Maybe you can negotiate that?

He has not even called them yet to see if they will wave the fee I think he should but he is sooo pist that they are even charging a fee he just wants to move it

Call them! Yes, you have to make a stink. Since they took over the acct they could exclude your acct. It should only be for new customers..
Fight it..it's a lot better than getting another acct!

You could try Vanguard. They usually have low fees.

Most places charge an annual maintenance fee... but if the networth is more than a certain amount, it can be waived. (from the companies I work at)
