Irregular period
do any of you have really irregular periods.? I had my period Jan. 29th, skipped Feb. and then March 21st. Now I am waiting for when it will show up in April. It's so frustrating because it is always at least 2 weeks late. Anyone have the same problem.?

If it's always 2 weeks late is it possible that you just have long cycles? Also, are you certain you are ovulating?

I agree with Christine. Mine were very irregular as well, and skipping periods while TTC is very stressful. I went to the doctor and she told me I might not be ovulating. I was precribed Clomid, but we had to put that on hold, because I was laid off 2 weeks later and would no longer have insurance. Talk to your doctor and see waht they suggest. GL!

Have you recently come off the BCP? Are you using OPKs or temping? It's possible you just have long cycles. And if you recently came off BC your body could just be regulating. I have cycles that are 40/42 days long. My doc put me on Clomid and Metformin. Turns out I'm Oing, but releasing immature eggs. If you didn't recently come off BC, I'd contcat your doctor to get testing done and see what's causing the long cycles. Good luck!
RGEC47: I'm sorry you were laid off. But just a heads up that Clomid is VERY cheap (like $10 per cycle) so you might not necessarily have to put it off. I guess though you'd still have to pay OOP for doc visits for monitoring and that. I hope it works out for you!

you probably have long cycles. I had long cycles too. well i had an average of 28-30 days. Then I went to 35-38 days. and just last month I had 27. I went off BCP in September. so it was all wacky.

i was never on BC, my periods have always been weird. I can be regular for three months and then the next three months would be irregular. I am going to try and make an appt. so see my doctor and see what she will say

I have irregular periods as well. My reg dr wanted to put me on clomid...but i went straight to an RE and I am so glad I did because we also have other issues going on!
