Irregular period and birth control
I had irregular periods as a teenager so my doctor put me on birth control at age 18. I have been on it for 13 years. I just stopped taking it on Saturday because my DH and I decided to start TTC.
My question is for those of you with irregular periods, were you still irregular after you stopped taking the pill? I know it takes your body time to regulate itself after coming off the pill. I'm just wondering how hard it is going to be to figure out my cycles.

I just stopped taking it it march, I didn't get a period for 2 months, the I got another 1 a week after that. Now I am just waiting and tracking it but we are not being careful

Yes - I was on BC because of short cycles (I would get AF every 21-23 days) and after 10 years I came off BC. My cycles were still very short (23-25 days) so I put myself on b-complex vitamins to make them longer and I was fine.

I was irregular too and was on BC for 12 years. My first cycles were normal. I'm on my third and still waiting for AF. This was normal for me before BC.
