in my own personal opinion - yes....
the magic number for this website - tends to be 13dpo...
i think implantation happens between 10 & 12 DPO..so you will get some people saying to test now...but that BFN hurts....

I would wait - if you are going to be really upset if you get a BFN why put yourself through it? Get busy - hide the tests and sit on your hands until tuesday.

From my own personal lessons..I wait! I wait until CD35, sometimes AF takes "different transportation" and gets here late!

I agree--13 dpo is the earliest I would test.

I think now is a bit to early, but Monday would be fine...2 days before your expected af should be fine.

I agree! For many people 10 DPO is too early but you can try to test if you want. It does seem like 13 DPO is a good time around here!

Re: is 10 dpo too early to test?
If you don't want to get a BFN, then I'd suggest waiting.
If you're pregnant, you'll STILL get your BFP on 13 dpo or 14 dpo - but if you aren't, you'll just disappoint yourself earlier than necessary by testing (plus, you'll be wasting money!)
Also, although some people will test positive on 8, 9, or 10, DPO - many won't. That would be unnecessary disappointment also if you ARE in fact pregnant, but just tested too early.
As previously mentioned, implantation can occur anywhere from 7-10 dpo - and even as late as 12 DPO, so you really want to give your body some time to build up hCG!

Re: is 10 dpo too early to test?
It depends on your cycle. I have short cycles and tested positive 11DPO.
I would not test too early. I think testing 1-2 days before AF is due is OK.

Re: is 10 dpo too early to test?
I tested on 11dpo and got BFP. Th line was faint but def there. Had i tested on 10dpo, im not sure i would have gotten anything.
TRY to wait til at least 12dpo
GOOD LUCK

Re: is 10 dpo too early to test?
It's different for everyone. I try to wait for the day AF is due. But, sometimes I can't hold off that long so I know it can be hard. If you do test, don't be too disappointed if it is a BFN as if may just be too early for you.

Re: is 10 dpo too early to test?
I just found this on BabyHopes.com.... I was looking for something for myself as well
Just an FYI
A common misconception is that implantation occurs 7 days after conception, but the research findings showed that first appearance of pregnancy hormone, HCG, due to implantation occurred 6-12 days after ovulation, with 84% of the pregnancies implanting on days 8-10 after ovulation. If you don’t get a positive pregnancy test, it doesn’t mean that you are not pregnant. It could be that you ovulated later than you thought (meaning that conception and subsequent HCG production didn’t happen as you calculated) or that, for you, implantation took longer than the average.
