Is $190 a lot for a 6 lb Beef Tenderloin (filet mignon)
I almost choked when DH told me that is what is is going to cost. I made it 2 years ago for Easter and I know it wasn't that much....

I'm not really sure but I would have estimated $20 a pound which is $120.
Actually, just checked on fresh direct and they have it for 22.99 per pound which would be $138 so yes, it seems your price is a bit high.

I would say so. Best yet had whole filet mignon on sale last week for $5.99 a pound.

whoa nellie. that is very high.
did you check Fairway? I really like their butcher and don't recall whole filet being that expensive!!
