There are some women in my hood who dress like this and are about that age. Some of them rock it and look awesome. Some not so much

My MIL is 71 (!!) and can totally rock that (former model). Think Catherine Deneuve (sp ?) but the Italian version.

My mom wears skinny jeans but not with high heels since she is 5'7" and prefers flats. She has an amazing figure though.

My cousins grandma is in her 80's and dresses like this.
Honestly, to each their own. She is quirky and honestly it suits her. And she looks good!
I doubt I will be doing this in my 80's but ya know what? Who am I to say an older woman shouldnt

I agree - if she is wearing a nice sweater, etc. I think it is fine. If she is wearing a low cut booby shirt, not so much.
Why should someone not be able to wear what is in fashion because she is 65? Is there an age where women have to start wearing theme sweatshirts and elastic waist pants? I hope when i am that age I am still able to rock some of the trends! As long as what she is wearing is appropriate, I see no problem with it.

Super skinny, maybe not but my mom certainly looks better in jeans that have what we in the 80s called the "cigarette leg" which is very straight. I think she would look frumpy in a boot cut and she's not a frumpy type.
