Just curious!

Maybe because Johnny did these things SO LATE (like 12 months for clapping and 15 months for waving hi and bye)..but my friends baby boy just turned 7 months..he waves hi to everyone and claps his hands when you ask him to clap. It's so crazy to me! But it might be the norm?? Ryan is 6 months old today and def doesn't do these things yet.

I am not worried about Ryan at all..I just can't get over the 7 month old!

Wow! Lol! I guess having a first child that did a lot of things late makes me think this is so young. Anything physical he did early..anything like waving, pointing, clapping etc was on the very late side.

This 7 month old is super tiny too so its so so cute and funny for me to see him waving and clapping. His mom said her first didn't do those things until later as well (after 10 months). I know all babies are different, I was just in awe of it!

DD did both around that age. I think she may have clapped earlier, I'd have to pull the baby book out to be sure.

My DD started clapping around 10.5 months. DS still doesn't clap and they are almost 13 months now. He did it once a few weeks ago and then hasn't since. DD stopped doing it for about a month or so and then started agin. Waving they both started around 11 months.
